Our detections are the foundation of the solar monitor. We combine up-to-date aerial imagery with AI and manual verification, so you know reliably per building whether panels are installed and where potential remains.

Annual aerial imagery of the whole of the Netherlands is the basis. We identify roofs and solar panels on it.

Yes. Sun Insight delivers figures and maps on installed capacity, potential and progress per area. You can use this data for RES monitoring, regional energy strategies and reporting to the national or provincial government.
Potential maps are updated periodically based on current roof information (BAG, aerial imagery). Installed capacity and realisation we update with data from grid operators and (where available) subsidy and permit registrations.
Yes. We offer API access and export to common formats. Integrations with GIS, energy management and municipal or regional portals are possible.
